Chef Burger and BBC join forces to launch an exclusive burger and beer

Two brands beloved by Colombians, Chef Burger and BBC, a key part of the entertainment sector in Colombia, have teamed up to introduce a burger and a beer to their restaurant menus. The restaurant and brewery will feature these products on their respective menus for three months, starting from August 1st, as it will initially be a seasonal product.

The Chef Beer, the name of the beer that will only be available for the three months of the alliance, and the IPA Burger, the burger that highlights the essence of BBC and the flavors of its beverages, are designed with the personality and characteristics that define each brand.

Their preparation combines two elements that are fundamental for lovers of good burgers: the juiciness of the meat, which pairs perfectly with the BBQ sauce made from the beer, with citrus and barley notes.

The new IPA Burger is artisanally crafted with potato bun, 100% beef mixed with bacon, vegetables from local gardens, pickles, and melted cheese, achieving a blend of flavors and textures, which produces a perfect pairing with the Chef Beer, to be launched as a Session IPA Type beer: white and hazy, accentuating the flavors on the palate that have characterized the brewery since its opening in Colombia 20 years ago, additionally becoming the most awarded national beer in the world when Berny Silberwasser, its founder, started as a college thesis that evolved into what BBC is today.

Maribel Gómez, brand director of Chef Burger, spoke about the alliance. “We want our users to achieve a true balance between work and personal life, to have a space to relax and enjoy with friends. We seek that this innovative union allows them to try new things, flavors, aromas, and experiences, but above all, to know how to stop in moments away from worries and enjoy everything that may be new in their day to day. And what better way to do it than with a good burger and a limited edition craft beer?”.

And what Gómez says is crucial, as the alliance has an additional purpose: the ‘No Working Space’ campaign, a movement that invites consumers to stop and leave stress behind, continuing its purpose of democratizing the consumption of artisan burgers with quality ingredients and pairing them with a good craft beer. It is estimated that the price of the burger will be between $25,000 and $30,000.
